ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central information secretary Shireen Mazari on Monday clarified that her political party planned to organise one-day event in Islamabad on November 30.
Shireen Mazari while addressing a press conference provided clarification of her party’s stance that PTI would organise a day long march in Islamabad.
She said that PTI’s march on November 30 planned as a one-day event but not a sit-in. She added that there was no strategy to march towards government buildings.
The clarification from the political party was given after rejection of permission to hold any political activity in Red Zone while senior party leaders sought legal permission from the federal authorities.
Earlier, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated the government has been informed that November 30 event will be a one-day political event but not a sit-in.
It is noteworthy to mention here that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar expressed his conditional approval to allow political event in Islamabad which would never affect routines of the citizens.
